Eating out today may be charitable thing to do

More than 20 restaurants on O'ahu are joining together today to fight AIDS through the annual charity dining event, O'ahu Dines.

The restaurants listed below will donate portions of the diners' bills today to Life Foundation, a local nonprofit organization working to fight AIDS in Hawai'i and the Pacific.

The Life Foundation estimates more than 3,000 people in Hawai'i are living with AIDS or are HIV positive.

Last year, O'ahu Dines raises more than $15,000 to support Life Foundation.
