Power restored to Big Island resort

About 250 customers in the area of the Waikoloa Resort lost power at 8:29 this morning after a problem with the Hawai'i Electric Light Co. underground cable system, according to the company.HELCO technicians performed several circuit switches and restored power to all customers by 11:32 a.m.
The cause of the blackout was under investigation.
