High surf warning downgraded to advisory

The National Weather Service canceled its high surf warning for northern and western shores but has issued a high surf advisory until 4 a.m. tomorrow.

Sur along north-facing shores will be 15 to 20 feet this morning, lowering to 10 to 15 this afternoon and tonight.

Surf along west-facing shores will be 12 to 15 feet this morning, lowering to 8 to 12 ft this afternoon and tonight.

Surf along east shores will be 3 to 6 feet today, and surf along south shores will be 2 feet or less.
