Small businesses invited to attend free consultations

The Small Business Administration has scheduled a series of free consultations in January and February to help small business owners on O'ahu, Kaua'i and the Big Island.

The 30-minute confidential consultations will provide small-business owners with information on resources including, loans for working capital, developing management skills, technical assistance and business development through government contracting programs and certifications.

The consultations will be held:

—Jan. 18, at the Lihue branch of Central Pacific Bank, 4364 Rice St., Lihu'e.

—Jan. 31 at the Waikamilo branch of Bank of Hawai'i, 1617 Dillingham Blvd., Honolulu.

—Feb. 6 at the Hawai'i Island Chamber of Commerce, 106 Kamehameha Ave., Hilo.
