Honolulu Airport to get new restaurants, Starbucks

Advertiser Staff

HMSHost Corp., a dinning and shopping concessionaire and subsidiary of Italy-based Autogrill SpA, said it has extended its lease with Honolulu Airport through 2014 and that it will be investing a minimum of $8 million at the airport during the term of the lease.

Its plans call for the opening of a Starbucks Coffee location outside of the security stations and the opening of a Mexican food eatery in the Diamond Head Concourse along with a bar serving microbrews from Hawai'i, the Bethesda, Maryland-based company said in a news release.

The airport's Central Concourse will receive Dewar's Cluhhouse where people can get a cocktail. There also will be a restaurant serving chicken ribs, roast beef and pizza.

In the Ewa Concourse there will be a Wolfgang Puck Grab & Go and a Gordon Biiersch Restaurant and Brewery.

The plans also include new eateries and bars for the Interisland Terminal.
