Agtourism conference set for Jan. 12 in Kona

The 5th Agtourism in Hawaii conference has been scheduled for Jan. 12 and will feature talks by Board of Agriculture Chairwoman Sandra Kunimoto, British Columbia Ministry of Agriculture specialist Brent Warner, and Holly George, author of "Agricultural and Rural Tourism in California."The biennial conference is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. at the Keauhou Beach Hotel. It is sponsored by the University of Hawai'i College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources, with support from Kamehameha Schools and government agencies.
