Advertiser Staff

Charges are pending against a 45-year-old Hau'ula man who allegedly threatened another man with a machete.

The complainant, 23, told police the man also threw beer bottles at his car, damaging the windshield. The incident occurred at 11 p.m. Tuesday.

The Hau'uala man was booked for first-degree terroristic threatening and fourth-degree criminal property damage.

In an unreleated threatening case, police are investigating a complaint from a 27-year-old man who said a man, 28, attempted to slash him with a knife late Tuesday afternoon during a dispute involving a missing truck.

Police arrested the alleged assailant for first-degree terroristic threatening and two outstanding misdemeanor warrants totaling $650.
