Pipeline Communication, UH join on thermal tech

Honolulu-based Pipeline Communications and Technology Inc. recently signed a licensing and joint research agreement with the University of Hawai'i. Under the deal, Pipeline will try to commercialize micro-scale thermal management technology for electronics such as computer processors.

Pipeline received $200,000 from the Hawaii Technology Development Venture in October to help commercialize the miniature, liquid-cooled heat sink technology developed by UH Assistant Professor Weilin Qu.
