Wailua Motocross Track closed until further notice

LIHU'E -- Unresolved permitting and liability issues have forced the temporary closure of the Wailua Motocross Track, Kaua'i county officials announced.A meeting has been scheduled between county officials and representatives of local motocross clubs to discuss issues and concerns about the use of the track.
"I apologize for any inconvenience this might cause, but it's imperative that these problems be taken care of," said Bernard Carvalho, director of the Kaua'i Offices of Community Assistance.
