Joint traffic/transit center proposal up for discussion

Advertiser Staff

Public input is being sought for the city's proposal to develop the Alapa'i Joint Traffic Management Center and Bus Transit Center.

A community meeting on the proposal will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 17 at the Mission Memorial Auditorium, 550 S. King St., next to Honolulu Hale, behind the Annex Building.

The joint traffic and transit center would be built on the corner of Alapa'i and King streets in downtown Honolulu.

A brief overview of the project will be given and then community response will allowed.

Parking is available at the Civic Center parking structure or at metered stalls on the street.
