Water restored after Hawai'i Kai main break repaired

Advertiser Staff

A 12-inch water main break that left some Hawai'i Kai Towne Center merchants without water service yesterday afternoon was repaired at 3:30 this morning. Water service had been fully restored by the same time, said Board of Water Supply spokeswoman Su Shin.

Road-repaving crews are on the scene doing road resurfacing, she said.

The break fronted the Tesoro gas station on Keahole Street. The break did not affect residents, Shin said.
