Morning thunderstorms rolling toward Kaua'i

National Weather Service radars were showing an area of heavy showers and possible thunderstorms moving ashore on the southeastern portion of Kaua'i at about 7:30 this morning.Locally heavy showers are likely hit Lihu'e this morning, the weather service reported.
Heavy showers may also occur from Po'ipu to Lihu'e to Kapa'a through 9:30.
