Flash-flood watch ends, but rain isn't over

A flash-flood watch for O'ahu and Kaua'i has been lifted, but the islands are not out of the storm yet.The National Weather Service ended a flash-flood watch at about 3:30 p.m. today but said the potential for heavy rain remains until Thursday.
The rain "are not expected to remain over any one area for a long enough time to cause flash flooding," said Tom Birchard, of the weather service. "There's still going to be periods of showers in Windward through Thursday. Friday and Saturday look better."
