Honolulu man, pulled from swimming pool, dies

A near-drowning victim pulled from a swimming pool at his home Jan. 2 died yesterday at The Queen's Medical Center.The Honolulu Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Chulhee Kim, 49, of Honolulu.
An autopsy determined cause of death as hypoxic encephalopathy due to near-drowning. Manner of death has been deferred pending further investigation.
