The USTA today announced that John N. Korff will begin a second consecutive two-year term as USTA Director at Large this week, and will serve on the USTA's 15-member board through 2008.

Korff will serve as Board Liaison to the Community Tennis Association Council and on the Board Budget Committee. Previously, he served on the Davis Cup Committee for six years.

Korff owns Korff Enterprises, a sports and special events marketing company based in New York City and Honolulu.

He founded and then organized the A&P Tennis Classic in Mahwah, N.J. for 25 years. It was the only women's pro tournament to host three nights of concerts and five nights of tennis.

He also staged the 2004 Olympic Triathlon Trials in Honolulu, Hawaii's first Olympic event.

Korff was also a member of the WTA Tour Board and a business advisor to the WTA Tour Players Association.

Korff, a graduate of Harvard Business School, was selected by TENNIS magazine in 2000 as one of the 50 most influential people in tennis.

Korff, who represents the USTA Hawaii Pacific Section, has run over 140 marathons, seven 100-mile races, and holds a record in the Empire State Building Run-Up.
