Advertiser Staff

A high surf advisory, which took effect yesterday, is in place today for east-facing shores of all Hawaiian islands, according to the National Weather Service.

Surf is expected to roll in at up to 10 feet on O'ahu's east-facing shores this morning and drop to 6 feet to 8 feet this afternoon. Waves are expected to hit 4 feet to 6 feet on north-facing shores; and 2 feet or less on south-facing shores.
