Travel associations to present tourism outlook Jan. 24

The Hawai'i chapters of Pacific Asia Travel Association and Travel and Tourism Research Association are scheduled to present their annual tourism outlook Jan. 24 at the Hawaii Prince Hotel.Speakers will include Paul Brewbaker, Bank of Hawaii chief economist; Byron Gangnes, director of the University of Hawaii Research Organization; and Chris Kam, director of market trends for the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau.
The event is set to start at 8 a.m. in the hotel's Mauna Kea Ballroom. The deadline to register is Jan. 18. For more information, call 621-2482, ext. 3.
