Electricity outage strikes Mililani area

About 1,400 customers in the Mililani area are without electricity at this hour because of an unspecified problem, a Hawaiian Electric Company. spokesman said.Power went out at 11:59 a.m. for customers on Kuahelani Avenue, Waipio Valley farm lots, Waimakua Drive and at Wheeler Army Air Field, said HECO spokesman Jose Dizon.
Repair crews are working on the problem, he said.
