Electrical power restored in Mililani area

Electricity was restored at 1:45 p.m. to all 1,400 customers in the Mililani area who lost power at lunchtime, a Hawaiian Electric Co. spokesman said.Power was re-routed to restore power, said HECO spokesman Jose Dizon.
Repair crews found a problem with an underground cable, he said.
Power initially went out at 11:59 a.m. for customers on Kuahelani Avenue, Waipio Valley farm lots, Waimakua Drive and at Wheeler Army Air Field.
