Man charged with operating stolen moped

A 29-year-old man was charged Wednesday for allegedly being in possession of a stolen moped.
Valley Pak, who has no local address, was arrested at 11:55 p.m.
Tuesday on Olive Avenue near Koele Way in Wahiawa after police stopped him for operating a moped with a defective muffler.
They subsequently determined the moped was stolen. Pak's bail was set at $11,000.
