Hawai'i golfers tee off this morning in Sony Open

The Wie family heads to the first tee of the Sony Open in Hawai'i. Michelle Wie's tee time was at 8:30 this morning.

Golfer Shigeki Maruyama starts off the Sony Open in Hawai'i tournament at 7:10 a.m. at Waialae Country Club.

The Sony Open in Hawai'i — the first full-field PGA Tour event of 2007 — began this morning amid morning showers at Waialae Country Club.

All Hawaii golfers have teed off in the first round of the tournament and no one is among the leaders.

Kaneohe's Dean Wilson is 1-over through four holes and Punahou senior Michelle is 1-over through two holes.

Other Hawaii golfers, Parker McLachlin and Kevin Hayashi, are 1-over after one hole.

Tadd Fujikawa and Abe Mariano have just teed off.
