Kaua'i police arrest suspect in Harbor Mall stabbing

LIHUE — Police arrested a man for questioning Wednesday night in connection with a stabbing of a woman at Harbor Mall.
The incident was reported to police at about 7:30 p.m. Police found the woman near a restaurant.
She was taken to Wilcox Hospital. Her condition is not known.
A section of the mall and the parking lot were closed to the public.
Police are investigating the stabbing as an attempted murder.
