HONOLULU--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In an effort to strengthen worldwide telecommunications networks, Chairman and CEO of Chunghwa Telecom Mr. Ho-Chen Tan will reveal details of Asia's telecommunications crises caused by December's earthquake. Mr. Ho-Chen will share insights with delegates representing over 60 countries at Pacific Telecommunications Council's Disaster Management Workshop, chaired by Bruce Elbert, President, Application Technology Strategy, Inc.
"In an emergency, telecommunication is a vital lifeline that cannot be broken," said Elbert. "Industry insiders from around the globe will hone their own emergency response plans based on Mr. Ho-Chen's first-hand experience."
