Traffic stacking up now in Pearl City, Aiea

Town-bound traffic on the H1 Freeway is continuing to build and the back up now extends past the Waikele Shopping Center.
The pace picks up again once past the Waimalu interchange, but traffic is stop-and-go at this time through the Middle Street merge.
No problems have been reported on the drive in from East O'ahu or the windward side.
