Rainbow Wahine 0-3 in WAC

Traci Graham scored 20 points as Nevada beat Hawai'i, 69-59, yesterday in a Western Athletic Conference women's basketball game at Reno, Nev.

A crowd of 438 at the Lawlor Events Center watched Hawai'i (6-9 overall, 0-3 WAC) lose its season-high fourth straight game.

Tanya Smith had a career-high 25 points with 16 rebounds for Hawai'i. Pam Tambini added 14 points.

The Rainbow Wahine committed a season-high 33 turnovers and Nevada (8-8, 2-1) outscored Hawai'i, 29-16, off those miscues. The 'Bows were also outscored, 20-6, on free throws.

The Wolf Pack led 37-31 at intermission and built their lead to 13 points with 14:50 left in the second half.

Hawai'i outrebounded Nevada, 44-28, and held the Wolf Pack to 37-percent shooting.
