Weekend weather looks fine

A high-pressure system far north of the state will keep moderate trade winds blowing through the new week, according to the National Weather Service.

The trades will carry shower-bearing clouds with them, with most of the moisture falling over windward and mountain areas.

Here's a more detailed look at the next few days:

Today, sunny with isolated showers. Highs around 80. East winds 10 to 15 mph with higher gusts. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight, mostly clear with isolated showers. Lows 67 to 75. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tomorrow, sunny with isolated showers. Highs around 79. East winds 10 to 15 mph with higher gusts. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tomorrow night, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 68 to 75. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph and gusty. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Monday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, mostly sunny with isolated showers. Breezy. Highs around 79. East winds 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
