UH QB Brennan cancels Monday announcement

The application deadline for underclassmen is today, and Brennan had scheduled a news conference for Monday morning.
"I need more time and more information," Brennan told The Advertiser.
The NFL allows an applicant 72 hours to rescind a decision. UH spokeswoman Lois Manin said Brennan will file the application Monday as a way to keep open his options.
"It does not mean in any way I've made a decision," Brennan said.
He said he will announce a decision Tuesday.
