Martin Luther King Jr. parade underway

The 19th annual Martin Luther King Jr. parade has begun at Magic Island.Marchers, vehicles, floats and bands left Magic Island this morning just after 9 a.m. and are heading down Ala Moana to Kalakaua Avenue, then to Monsarrat and end at Kapiolani Park where a unit rally will follow.
The rally is slated from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the park.
