Light holiday traffic greets morning commuters

Advertiser Staff

With government offices and schools closed in celebration of the Martin Luther King, Jr., traffic is light heading into Honolulu and there are no stalls or major accidents to report.

Travelers heading into Waikiki will want to avoid Ala Moana this morning, unless you're going that way to watch the parade.

The Martin Luther King Jr. parade will start out at Magic Island, travel down Ala Moana to Kalakaua Avenue to Monsarrat and end at Kapiolani Park.

The parade is set to begin at 9 a.m.
