Former Isle NFL players to sign autographs Saturday

Former NFL players Maa Tanuvasa and Chris Fuumatu Maafala will be signing autographs at the Ecosystems store in Kahala Mall Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.

Their appearance is part of the Army Hawaii second annual Football Bash NFL camp sign up for 8- to 17-year-olds to be held on Jan. 27 from 8 a.m. to noon.

Maa Tanuvasa played for nine NFL seasons and is a former NFL defensive lineman for the Denver Broncos.

He was part of the team that won the Super Bowl in 1998 and 1999. He was inducted into the Hawaii Sports Hall of Fame in 2006. Chris Fuumatu-Maafala is a running back who most recently played for Jacksonville Jaguars, he formerly played for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
