Nimitz/Ala Moana road work continues

Single lanes will be closed in both directions on Nimitz Highway from Fort Street to Richards Street nightly through Friday morning from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for pavement saw-cutting and trenching for the installation of street lighting and traffic signal conduits.

Other road work around O'ahu:

Lanes closed on Pu'uloa Road

Single lanes will be closed in both directions on Pu'uloa Road near Salt Lake Boulevard, through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for traffic signal, utility and electrical work. Shoulder lanes on both sides of Pu'uloa Road will also be closed during these hours for utility work.

'Aiea Access Road pavement work under way

Shoulder lanes will be closed in both directions on 'Aiea Access Road from Moanalua Road to Kamehameha Highway, through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for installation of pavement markers. During this time, the shoulder lane on the Moanalua Freeway on-ramp may also be closed.

H-2 Freeway lane to be closed

A single lane will be closed on the H-2 Freeway (north-bound) between the westbound H-1 Freeway Waipahu Exit (exit 8B, west) and the Waiawa Interchange.

The right lane will be closed for approximately 4,000 feet for erosion control work on the adjacent hillside through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

H-3 Freeway lanes to close in Kane'ohe

Single lanes will be closed on the H-3 Freeway between the Halekou Interchange and the Marine Corps Base Hawai'i in Kane'ohe through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for pavement resurfacing at the following locations:

  • Northbound direction from the Halekou Interchange to the Marine Corps Base Hawai'i

  • Southbound direction from the Kailua Interchange to the Halekou Interchange

    On/off-ramps at the Halekou Interchange to the H-3 Freeway (northbound) will also be closed for pavement resurfacing at the following locations and dates:

  • H-3 (East) Exit 11 to #83 Kamehameha Highway on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • H-3 on-ramps (northbound) from Kamehameha Highway on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    Kamehameha project continues near Pearl Harbor

    A right lane will be closed on Kamehameha Highway (outbound) between Radford Drive and Halawa Drive through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for bikeway construction.

    Road work near Crouching Lion resumes

    Single lanes will be closed on Kamehameha Highway between Waiahole Valley Road and Crouching Lion Inn in both directions through Friday, 8:30 a.m. through 3 p.m., for sign installation and guard-rail work.

    Traffic will be contra-flowed in the remaining open lane.

    Farrington project in Waipahu ongoing

    Single lanes will be closed in both directions on Farrington Highway in Waipahu from Old Fort Weaver Road to Kamehameha Highway through Friday for the installation of traffic loop detectors and pavement striping at these times:

  • Eastbound: 8:30 a.m. through 3 p.m., daily

  • Westbound: 7:30 a.m. through 3 p.m., daily
