'Dog' and crew to get inked at H&H

Advertiser Staff

Two A&E shows with Island ties are coming together tomorrow and the meeting will leave an indelible mark — at least on Duane "Dog" Chapman and members of his bounty-hunting crew.

Tomorrow, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Dog "The Bounty Hunter" and his fellow bounty hunters are among a handful of local celebrities who will be getting tattoos at the Hart & Huntington Tattoo Company — better known as home of the hit A&E series "Inked."

H&H's original show is based out of The Palms in Las Vegas, but owner Carey Hart, a motocross legend and a former "Surreal Life" cast member who is married to rocker Pink, opened a shop on O'ahu.

To kick off the Hawai'i version of the A&E show, Dog, Beth, Leland, Tim and crew will meet up with H&H's Las Vegas crew Clarke, Lacey, Dizzle, Joshua and Joey.

"The Bounty Hunter" TV series is also on A&E.

Also getting inked, according to an H&H news release: Natalie Eichner, 16-yr.-old local motocrosser; Egan Inoue, mixed martial arts fighter; Leonard Peters, University of Hawaii football player; City Council Chair Donovan Dela Cruz and Senator Robert Bunda.

Hart & Huntington Tattoo Company is located at 2301 Kuhio Avenue, Suite 101.
