PBS launches news Web site for keiki

PBS has launched NEWS FLASH FIVE, a Web site for keiki ages 8 to 11 to learn about current events.A pbs.org user survey recently showed a high level of interest in the news, with almost four in five describing themselves as interested or very interested in the news, but only one in four saying most news stories are "very easy" to understand.
