Police are asking for the public's help in finding Tilton Lasua Jr., who is wanted on suspicion of attempted murder and other charges stemming from a Jan. 11 incident involving his former girlfriend.

The ex-girlfriend told police she was asleep in the back seat of her car when she was awakened by Lasua as he tried to break in through a back window.

Lasua managed to get into the car and allegedly struck the woman before she was able to drive away, police said.

They said Lasua got into his own car and pursued her mauka on Kalihi Street, ramming his car into the back of the woman's car 13 times, finally causing her to collide with a parked car and then a utility pole. The woman suffered minor injuries.

Police are asking anyone with information about Lasua to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *Crime on cellular phones.
