Global Hawaii Television Network to launch

PLAINVIEW, N.Y. and KAILUA — NeuLion Inc., the company driving convergence between television and the internet, announced today that Hawai'i IPTV has chosen NeuLion's iPTV Service as the platform for the first global Hawaii Television Network. Using NeuLion's iPTV platform, Hawai'i IPTV will deliver a variety of Hawai'i programming, in real-time and on-demand, directly to subscription and pay-for-view consumers anywhere in the world. Hawai'i IPTV streams live to television providing a better service than slower download methods.

Hawai'i IPTV is proud to offer the largest collection of Hawai'i-based programming distributed through leading edge IPTV technology directly to the television. The goal of the Hawai'i IPTV service is to deliver the Hawai'i experience to Native Hawaiians and Hawaii expatriates living away from Hawai'i.

In conjunction with the debut of Hawai'i IPTV, Chris Wagner, NeuLion's Executive Vice President, spoke at the Pacific Telecommunications Council in Honolulu. He discussed the current union of telecommunication and entertainment media, as most recently executed with the debut of Hawai'i IPTV.

Programming selections include news broadcasts including Hawaii's No. 1 nightly news KGMB9. Hawai'i IPTV customers will be able to view the nightly news live or on demand. Subscribers can also enjoy special features including; documentaries on Duke Kahanamoku and Eddie Aikau, local classics like Checkers and Pogo, popular local weekly shows like Board Stories, Hawai'i Goes Fishing, Hawai'i Reel Stories, Entertaining In Paradise, sports, music, education and fashion programs.

The set top box costs $150 and the monthly service fee is $15. The service can be ordered online at www.TVfromHawaii.com.
