Hawaiian Air goes cashless for local inflight purchases

Hawaiian Airlines said starting Monday it will no longer take cash for onboard purchases on its interisland flights.

Hawaiian passenger will have to use credit cards when they purchase beverages and other for-sale items on interisland flights.

Hawaiian, whose transpacific flights are cashless, said the move makes transactions faster and easier for customers, and eliminates the need to look for cash.
