Hawai'i State Art Museum holds mini film festival Saturday

Advertiser Staff

The Hawai'i State Art Museum and Slow Food Oahu will present a mini film festival from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. tomorrow focusing on the consequences of wasteful practices and the sustainability of our resources.

Two movies will be screened: "Lower Orders," a humorous animated look at the food chain, and "Farming the Seas," an investigation of the viability of the global food chain and the sustainability of the oceans' fisheries.

And if the films make you hungry, Ed Kenney, chef-owner of Town Restaurant in Kaimuki, will offer a food tasting.

Seating is limited. To reserve a spot, call 586-0900.
