Landmark China and Pacific exhibit to open at Bishop Museum

For the past few years Bishop Museum and University of Hawai'i scientists have been working in China and throughout the Pacific, digging up new clues to the question: Where did Polynesians come from?The results of their labors will be on view in the groundbreaking exhibition "Lost Maritime Cultures: China and the Pacific," opening Feb. 24 at Bishop Museum. The show explores cultural and anthropological connections between ancient China and Oceania and will run through through April 15, 2007.
