Forecast: Sunshine for now, rain on Monday

Winds over the state will gradually turn southeast and diminish today as a weather feature north of the Islands weakens ahead of a cold front approaching from the northwest, according to the National Weather Service.
The weather should be stable over much of the state today, with light showers confined mostly to windward and mauka areas, forecasters said.
They expect the cold front to move down the island chain Monday night and Tuesday, bringing showers and gusty northerly winds before stalling near Maui.

Monday, sunny with isolated showers. Highs 75 to 80. West winds up to 10 mph in the morning, becoming light. Chance of rain 20 percent.
Monday night, partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming mostly cloudy. Scattered showers. Lows 64 to 74. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.
