Kaiser races past Nanakuli in OIA

Kalua Noa scored 12 points and Tyler Norden added 10 as host Kaiser defeated Nanakuli, 58-33, last night in an O'ahu Interscholastic Association White Division boys basketball game.

The Cougars surged to a 37-10 halftime lead in improving to 6-1.

Vincent Mao led the Golden Hawks with seven points.

Nainoa Lessary and Rey Vincent Enanoria each scored 11 points and the Tigers bolted to a 21-1 first-quarter lead and never looked back in beating the Falcons in an OIA White Division game.

Shayne Searle scored 16 points, Derek Alik added 14 and the Lions broke away from a 10-10 first-quarter tie by outscoring the Bulldogs 37-11 in the second and third quarters of an Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division II game.

Ryan Murphy led Le Jardin with seven points.
