Sunny weather should last through tomorrow

The light winds and sunny weather we've been having should last through tomorrow afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

An approaching cold front likely will reach Kaua'i by tomorrow night and then stall by the time it reaches Maui County Tuesday afternoon.

As the front passes through, it will bring along showers and gusty northerly winds tomorrow night and Tuesday.

Here's a closer look at what's to expect during the next few days:

Today, sunny. Isolated showers in the afternoon. Highs around 79. Light winds becoming southeast, around 10 mph, in the afternoon. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight, mostly clear. Lows 63 to 73. Northwest winds around 10 mph.

Tomorrow, sunny. Isolated showers in the afternoon. Highs 75 to 80. Light winds becoming south, around 10 mph, in the afternoon. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tomorrow night, partly cloudy. Isolated showers in the evening. Then scattered showers after midnight. Lows 64 to 74. Northwest winds around 10 mph shifting to the north 15 to 20 mph after midnight. Chance of rain 40 percent.

Tuesday, partly sunny, with showers likely. Highs around 78. Northeast winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent.

Tuesday night, partly cloudy with scattered showers. Lows 61 to 72. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.
