Advertiser Staff

Seven people were injured in a collision today between a city bus and pickup truck at Middle and North King streets.

Emergency Medical Services spokesman Bryan Cheplic said none of the people transported to three different hospitals from the 3:47 p.m. collision appear to have life-threatening injuries.

A man driving the truck was in serious condition at The Queen's Medical Center. Six people from the bus, including the driver, were taken to Kapi'olani Medical Center at Pali Momi and Kuakini hospitals in stable condition for observation, Cheplic said.
