UH moves up in national volleyball ranking

The University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team climbed two notches to third in this week's College Sports Television/American Volleyball Coaches Association poll announced today.The Warriors (2-2) swept Pacific (2-5), which dropped one spot to 12th.
Unbeaten UC-Irvine (8-0), the defending Mountain Pacific Sports Federation champion, remains atop the poll followed by Brigham Young (6-0).
UH hosts BYU, No. 9 Penn State and No. 13 Loyola of Chicago in the 13th Outrigger Hotels Invitational Friday and Saturday at the Stan Sheriff Center.
