A&B hires Allan Darling as internal audit director

Alexander & Baldwin Inc. has hired Allan "Al" Darling as its internal audit director to replace Paul Ito, who was promoted to company controller last year.Darling will be responsible for directing internal audit activities of A&B and its subsidiaries, as well as developing and overseeing a company-wide risk assessment and management program.
Darling, a certified public accountant, previously was business unit controller of San Diego-based Science Applications International Corp., a systems, solutions and technical services company with annual revenues approaching $8 billion.
