Retired supervisor for the state Bureau of Conveyances; formerly employed at Kaneohe Territorial Mental Institution and Kona Inn. Survived by children, Elizabeth Ka'uhane, Anita Pane'e, Henrietta Alexander and Henry Ako Jr; sisters, Carlotta Wyatt, Virginia Rapoza and Marie Camvel; brother, Lancelot Ako; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
