Dry weather may give way briefly to rain

Expect more rain tonight and into Wednesday, with trade winds becoming moderate to strong from the northeast.

The forecast from the National Weather Service calls for partly sunny skies today with scattered showers, highs 71 to 78 degrees and northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. There is a 50 percent chance of rain through tomorrow night, with the chance of rain dropping to 20 percent on Thursday.

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny, scattered showers in the morning, isolated showers in the afternoon, highs 71 to 7, east winds 10 to 15 mph.

Tomorrow night: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers in the evening, then partly cloudy with isolated showers after midnight, lows 56 to 65, southeast winds up to 10 mph in the evening becoming light.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with isolated showers ,highs 72 to 79, light winds.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy with scattered showers, lows 56 to 64, north winds around 10 mph.

Friday: Mostly sunny, scattered showers in the morning, isolated showers in the afternoon, highs 72 to 79, east winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers, lows 56 to 65, light winds. Chance of rain 40 percent.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with scattered showers, highs 71 to 78, southwest winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.
