At least four vehicles in H-1 pileup, one man injured

A 30-year-old man was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in serious condition following a multiple car pileup this afternoon in the east-bound lanes of the H-1 Freeway.The collision occurred at about 12:44 p.m. near the Vineyard Street off-ramp, police said.
The accident has resulted in a major traffic backup, and drivers are being urged to avoid the area if possible.
At least four vehicles were involved in the collision, emergency responders said.
