Long-awaited IHOP to open Feb. 5 at Windward Mall

An International House of Pancakes restaurant is scheduled to open at Windward Mall Feb. 5 after a more than 1-year delay.IHOP plans to open at 6 a.m., and will have regular hours from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 6 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
The restaurant had initially targeted October 2005 to open, but ran into delays over rising construction costs. A second opening target of early 2006 also was delayed.
