Military personnel can attend Turtle Bay golf for free

All military personnel with valid identification will be admitted free to this week's Turtle Bay Championship, the second event on the Champions Tour golf calendar.The $1.6 million tournament will be held Friday through Sunday at Turtle Bay's Arnold Palmer Course.
Last week, Hale Irwin won the season-opening MasterCard Championship, beating Jim Thorpe and Tom Kite by five strokes for his tour-record 45th victory and first in 15 months. Coming off his first winless season in 12 years, the 61-year-old Irwin closed with a 7-under 65 for a 23-under 193 total. He's sixth-oldest winner in tour history.
