Young Brothers makes changes in Kahului, Honolulu

Young Brothers said it is making changes to its Honolulu and Kahului facilities to accommodate the growth in cargo demand.The changes in Honolulu include relocating the Maui/Moloka'i palletized area and demolishing the Pier 40 terminal. Young Brothers will lose part of its Kahului pier space in May, but will obtain some replacement areas and will reconfigure the facility. Changes include moving the customer service office and demolishing the Wharf Street Shed and Pier 2 Shed.
